In the laboratories of the German Research Centre for Geosciences rarely known methods are being used in a state-of-the-art environment. Microbes are getting extracted from the sediments to perform direct turnover measurements with radio isotopes, anion and cation compositions are measured or microbes are getting counted under the miroscope. Very nice information was taught to students early in their research career.
All participants were appreciating the course and gave good insight via interviews which are accompanied by lab impressions.
In anticipation of the research project attracting attention via social media channels, 7 posts were produced for Twitter and LinkedIn.
